Lincoln Classic Corsair

The Lincoln Classic corsair was created, designed, manufactured and built by the Roaring Twenties Motorcar Company of Ramon
a,California USA and was a classic original motorcar inspired by the tradition of Cords and Dusenbergs, the Corsair was offered with every possible luxury.

Conceived in the spirit of the F.Scott Fitzgerald era, each Corsair  was one of a kind, built and customised to the meticulous taste of the ultimate owner.

By replicating the traditional styling principles, coupled now with modern engineering techniques and materials, the Lincoln Corsair envokes the spirit of pre war  motoring and has an individual, speedy, and eye-catching character all of its own

This is the actual Corsair demonstrator constructed by the Imperial Motor Car Company in the UK who were the appointed UK and European distributor for the Roaring 20's Motor Car Company.

Constructed in 1978, this Corsair utilizes a modified Ford Lincoln frame and a new and modified MG Midget body with additional steel inner structure, nose section with firewall and floor pan and steel two piece folding bonnet and side panels with GRP fenders.

The car now benefits from a new and immaculate two tone Silver and Blue paint finish with savile silver-grey leather seats and interior and blue carpets, Beautifully engraved side quarter light windows with  wind up glass door windows, and full burlwood dash & steering wheel,7 classic styled white faced gauges, am/fm stereo, blue converible soft-top again with beautifully engraved rear glass window,

Powered by the smallblock 351 Ford V8 engine with C4 automatic transmission, power brakes & steering,  nice soft ride & very responsive indeed, 2 piece metal bonnet/hood. The car weighs 3800 pounds, & is 198 " long, 123" wheelbase, 74" wide, 55" high, around 8" road clearance, & has a heavy duty Lincoln frame & all mechanics are Ford, for easy maintenance.

Has a rear mounted spare, 5 real wire wheels, dual fog lamps, twin trumpet horns, hood ornament, locking trunk/boot, white radial tires, 3 wipers, powder coated suspension, & cost over 40,000 new in 1978 .

This is a great great car, with all the right colors & goodies. These cars are similar to the Clenet series 1 cars, Gatsby & the Johnson Presidential. The Corsair name was from the long  snouted profile of the famed Chance Vought F4U Corsair fighter plane of the 2nd world war.Dont wait long on this car. it wont be here for very long.

Again a lot of car for this price for a   rather rare car. These cars never take long to sell so dont wait
